The Vermont Fuel Dealers Association (VFDA) works with companies in the business of keeping Vermonters warm. The Vermont Fuel Education Center (VFEC—operated by VFDA) is the state’s leading provider of education and training to both fuel and non-fuel companies that sell, install and service oil and gas heating systems. The Vermont Fuel Education Center trains more than 1000 certified heating technicians every year. Our propane and oilheat education curriculum is recognized nationally and is required for heating technicians in Vermont. We are pleased to receive both NORA and PERC education grant money to help reduce the cost of oilheat and propane training. While based in Montpelier, our courses are held across Vermont and New Hampshire. VFEC can also come to your facility.
